   Structure of superuniverses

There are seven superuniverses in the grand universe and they are made up roughly like this:

1. The system

2. Constellation

3. Local Universe

4. Small Sector

5. Big Sector

6. Superuniverse

7. The Big Universe

P. Paradise

H. Havona

1. Superverse Orlington

2. Superverse Orvando

3. Superverse Manwando

4. Superverse Lanternton

5. Superverse Lexerton

6. Superverse Oreiparena

7. Superverse Orwonton

The purposes of the seven superuniverses

There are seven primary goals that are revealed in the evolution of the seven superuniverses. Each main purpose of the evolution of the superuniverses finds its fullest expression in only one of them, and therefore each of the superuniverses has a special function and a unique essence.

The seventh superuniverse Orvonton is that to which your local universe belongs, known primarily for its staggering and generous dedication of its merciful aid to mortals. She has become famous for the celebration of justice tempered by mercy, and the authority of might conditioned by patience, while time is freely sacrificed to the stabilization of eternity. Orvonton is the universal demonstration of love and mercy.

The plan of universal organization provides for the following units:

Superverses                                                     7

Large sectors                                                  70

Small sectors                                               7 000

Local universes                                        700 000

Constellations                                      70 000 000

Local planetary systems                 7 000 000 000

Inhabitable planets                   7 000 000 000 000

Each of the seven superuniverses is made up roughly like this:

A planetary system spans approx                            1 000 holy

One constellation (100 planetary systems)          100 000 holy

One local universe (100 constellations)          10 000 000 holy

One small sector (100 universes)              1 000 000 000 holy

One large sector (100 small sectors)     100 000 000 000 holy

One superuniverse (10 large sectors) 1 000 000 000 000 holy

In the early materialization stages of universal creation, schemes of superuniverse organization and governance based on the number seven were formulated. The first post-Havonian creation was divided into seven colossal segments; the capital worlds were designed and built to govern the seven superuniverses. The present scheme of government has existed since time immemorial, and the rulers of these seven superuniverses are rightly called the Eternal Ancients.

We have long since discovered that the seven superuniverses revolve in a vast ellipse - a gigantic and elongated circle. Your solar system, like other worlds of time, is not headed forward without a map and compass into unknown space. The local universe to which your system refers moves along a definite and well-known path in a counterclockwise direction describing a vast trajectory around the central universe. This cosmic path, well charted and studied by the astronomers of the superuniverse, as well as the orbits of the planets of your solar system, are known to the astronomers of Urantia.
