   Summary::

   Dominion of mind over matter

Cosmic intelligence. The Master Spirits represent the sevenfold source of cosmic intelligence, the intellectual potential of the great universe. This cosmic mind is a sub-absolute manifestation of the mind of the Third Source and Center; it has some functional connection with the mind forming in the Supreme Being.

In a world similar to Urantia, we do not find the direct influence of the Seven Master Spirits on choral affairs. You live under the immediate influence of the Creative Spirit of Nebadon.

Cosmic intelligence responds to three levels of universal realities:

1. Causality - the domain of reality, including physical feelings, logically homogeneous spheres of science, the distinction between factual and non-factual, inferences based on cosmic reaction. This is the mathematical form of cosmic insight.

2. Debt - the area from the reality of mortals to the philosophical reality, the place of action of reason; the understanding of relative good and evil. It is this form of cosmic insight that rests on common sense.

3. Worship - the area of spiritual reality, including religious experience, the personal realization of divine brotherhood, the recognition of spiritual values, confidence in eternal existence, the rise from the position of God's servant to the joy and freedom of God's children. This is the higher penetration of cosmic intelligence, a respectful and reverent form of cosmic insight.

Life experience invariably develops these three forms of cosmic intuition; they are an inalienable part of the reflection inherent in self-awareness.

The evolution of mechanisms presupposes and signifies the hidden presence and dominance of creative intelligence. The mind always strives to achieve the following goals:

1. Creation of material mechanisms.

2. Unraveling hidden secrets.

3. Study of distant objects and situations.

4. Development of thinking systems.

5. Gaining wisdom.

6. Attainment of spiritual levels.

7. Realization of divine purposes - supreme, ultimate and absolute.

Four realizations of universal reality are inherent in man's self-awareness:

1. The search for knowledge, the logic of science.

2. The search for moral values, the sense of duty.

3. The search for spiritual values, the religious experience.

4. The search for personal values, the ability to perceive the reality of God as a person and a parallel awareness of our fraternal ties with other persons.

The union of the cosmic mind and the auxiliary spirits of mind creates an adequate physical vessel for the developing man. The seven subsidiary spirits of reason determine the direction of organic evolution. As living intelligence acquires the ability to learn from experience, it enters the realm of the Master Physical Regulators. The Sons of God are able to construct the forms of life, but it is the Spirit of God that brings the very spark of life.

   Personality

Personality is a unique and unadulterated gift; its existence is independent of and precedes the consecration of the Consciousness Adjuster. Personalities may be similar, but they are never repeated. Personal beings of a particular genus, type, category, or pattern may resemble and resemble one another, but they are never identical. The creature's personality is characterized by two self-manifesting and typical phenomena of reactive mortal behavior: self-awareness and its associated relative free will. Self-awareness consists in the awareness of the fact of the existence of the personality and includes the ability to be aware of the reality of other personalities.

The Urantian type human personality may be seen as functioning in the physical mechanism which is a planetary modification of the organism of a non-Badonic type, pertaining to the electrochemical type of life activation and endowed with a non-Badonic variety of cosmic intelligence for the Orvonton series of heterosexual procreatives creatures.

Three basic cosmic realities of mind:

1. The mathematical or logical perception of the uniformity of physical causality.

2. The reasonable perception of the obligation of moral behavior.

3. The insight of faith acquired in sympathetic worship before the Deity, combined with the loving service of man.

   Lordship of the Spirit

Each type of energy dominates in different situations. Spirit is the creative reality. Mind dominates matter, but it submits to spirit. Spiritual individuality, merging with the Adjusters, is the secret of salvation and the attainment of Heaven. Spiritual individuality contains within itself the secret of personal salvation and determines the goal of spiritual ascent.
